Day 1-Ready to start our journey...
I received an email with a healthy meal plan from my cousin Sammy just the other day. Since I have a hard time following anything and a husband who hates vegetables, I decided to change things up just a little. We began the day with 1/2 cup of oatmeal, 6 blackberries, flax seed and almond slivers. 1/2 a grapefruit (no sugar added) and a glass of a milk, YUM!
Got in a 30 minute walk...a little grocery shopping and a delicious peanut butter and banana protein shake. Already had a moment of weakness and bought all the ingredients to make Chi chi dango (see picture below).

For lunch we had 1-2 pieces of whole grain pita bread with hummus and a cucumber, tomato and avocado salad-who knew to lose weight I'd be eating so much?
Took Lil Papi our Brussels Griffon for a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood. And guess what? It's time for another snack! 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt and a handful of blueberries.

Dinner was delectable! Made sesame chicken broccoli served over ramen noodles. Even the hubby liked it!
